Are you a #naturalwarrior yet?

A couple of weeks ago, the green beauty community of Instagram was buzzing with excitement (shoutout to Maison Pur and Free Love Beauty!) – some of W3LL PEOPLE’s products are now available at Target.com. What’s W3LL PEOPLE? A premium quality clean make-up brand whose founders – an elite make-up artist, cosmetic dermatologist and nature-loving entrepreneur – are passionate about making positive choices in life and in self care. Formulated without any potentially harmful artificial chemicals found in most conventional makeup, W3LL PEOPLE’s modern take on beauty (as you may have guessed from the alluring minimalist design of their packaging) is built on simplicity, authenticity and performance.

Here are two of W3LL PEOPLE’s best selling products that have become a staple in my make-up bag. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to save time and perfect that ever so coveted “no make-up make-up” look. That’s right, mamas! Your search for a no-fuss approach to getting ready in the morning may finally be over!

Expressionist Bio Extreme Mascara

When I made the switch to non-toxic beauty products, one of the very first items I wanted to replace was mascara. Most women, myself included, use mascara every day – a product that goes on right above our eyes. Conventional mascara is loaded with conceivably harmful ingredients such as formaldehyde releasers, SLS, coal tar, mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, and mercury. Umm, I don’t know about you but nasties that can easily drip into my eye balls kinda seem like a big deal!

Like many green beauty converts before me, finding a clean mascara that works just as well as its dirty counterpart seemed like a challenge of epic proportions but after many failed trials, I have found THE one that continues to work for me: W3LL PEOPLE Expressionist Mascara. This mascara does it all – lengthen, strengthen, and volumizing! A signature botanical blend nourishes your lashes while pure mineral pigments create a deep black for high definition. The new fusiform molded rubber brush delivers just the right amount of product to even the hardest-to-reach lashes and the buildable formula stays put all day and does not clump. The Expressionist Mascara scores a perfect 0 on the Think Dirty app and is 100% free of cruelty, petroleum, parabens, gluten, coal tar, aluminum, fiber or any other chemicals that can irritate the sensitive eye area.

Universalist Multi-Use Colorstick 9 Nude Flush

This is the most recent of my make-up purchases and I could not be happier! The Universalist is truly a multi-purpose product that combines beautiful color and powerful organic antioxidants in one simple stick formula. It comes in an array of color options and two different finishes (matte and luminous). Made in the USA, it is free of artificial preservatives, parabens, chemicals, dyes, fragrance, silicone, dimethicone, phthalates, sulphates, petroleum, talc, bismuth oxychloride, nanoparticles, and cruelty.

I have fair skin with warm undertones and I seem to have a hard time finding nude shades that don’t look too pink, too brown or just too washed out. But not this one – Nude Flush is just right! It gives your skin the perfect amount of easy-to-apply natural color that – unlike many other multi-use products – actually looks gorgeous on cheeks, lips and eyes. Even though Nude Flush is one of the matte formulas, it has a very subtle shimmer to it that offers a healthy glow and enhances your features without looking tacky.
